SSI Advanced Diver certificate…

..the globally accepted award for divers with the highest combination of diving knowledge and experience.

This course will improve your comfort and confidence in the water and perfect your diving skills. By the end of the course you will have grown your diving experience considerably and become a more independent diver who no longer needs constant instructor supervision.

This programme consists of seven dives covering four specialties of your choice :
• Boat dive
• Perfect Buoyancy
• Navigation
• Underwater Photography
• Night/Limited Visibility Diving • Computer Diving
• Nitrox Diving

For each Speciality you will receive access to the respective online module, to complete the e-learning and test.

The complete AOWD course can be completed in just three days and all your dives will be counting towards your SSI Advanced Open Water Diver certification.

To receive the Advanced Open Water Diver certification you need to have a total of 24 logged dives (incl. the specialty dives).
Minimum Age: 12 years.

It is very common now that most diving organizations offer the so called E-Learning. This means that the theory part can be completed online with SSI, and will minimize your time in the classroom allowing more time to concentrate on the practical part… diving!

All you need is a computer, tablet or smartphone and internet access. Full HD Videos, modern graphics, animations and great pictures make home studying much more fun, as you are the one who decides when to study which module.

Each step will be documented, and we will receive a notification of your progress. You are only going to spend a short time in our classroom, to discuss the course with your instructor, possibly answer some further questions and write a final exam.

Online training is free of charge (first 3 chapters), all you have to do is register with SSI:

You will receive your access code after successfully enrolling and paying your deposit with us. To grant you access to all chapters of the SSI Open Water Diver course, we need an appropriate reservation and a deposit payment.
