Been a while since your last dive?

No problem, recapture the feeling of total confidence before getting back out there. If you’re a certified diver, but it’s been a while since you’ve been in the water, SSI’s Scuba Review is the perfect way refresh your skills. Your Scuba Skills Update Dive Leader will review the knowledge you learned in your Open Water Diver class and cover any new material.

You will review dive planning, dive tables, dive execution and will have the opportunity to practice and review the scuba skills you learned in your open water diver course. If any techniques have changed or developed since then, we’ll make sure these are taught and practiced as well.

You will have the opportunity to refresh your memory, motor coordination and practice your self-aid skills with the guidance of a dive leader.

The scuba skills update is a great opportunity to re-learn your current equipment, or the perfect time to learn about and adjust any new equipment with the guidance of a dive leader.

Register for eLearning

It is very common now that most diving organizations offer the so called E-Learning. This means that the theory part can be completed online with SSI, and will minimize your time in the classroom allowing more time to concentrate on the practical part… diving!

All you need is a computer, tablet or smartphone and internet access. Full HD Videos, modern graphics, animations and great pictures make home studying much more fun, as you are the one who decides when to study which module.

Each step will be documented, and we will receive a notification of your progress. You are only going to spend a short time in our classroom, to discuss the course with your instructor, possibly answer some further questions and write a final exam.

Online training is free of charge (first 3 chapters), all you have to do is register with SSI:

You will receive your access code after successfully enrolling and paying your deposit with us. To grant you access to all chapters of the SSI Open Water Diver course, we need an appropriate reservation and a deposit payment.
