The M/V Stingray stays out at sea whilst every morning the speedboat sets off at 08:30 AM to deliver guests and returns every evening around 05:00 pm at Thap Lamu Pier

Overview

Welcome aboard the MC Stingray!

With space for up to 8 people (including non divers), the MC Stingray is equipped with 4 freshly renovated en suite cabins, each with its own bathroom, bunk beds and air conditioning.

The catamaran-style design of Stingray provides plenty of spaces to relax on board so that you’ll have a cozy place to rest after your dives. On top of that, our onboard kitchen makes sure that breakfast, lunch and dinner are all freshly prepared and cooked.

Guests staying on the MC Stingray will dive alongside daytrip guests, however, they will enjoy additional night and morning dives exclusively for the liveaboard guests.

Stay as many nights as you want and decide daily if you’d like to return to Khao Lak mainland via speedboat.

Tourplan

Tour Plan

Running from November 1st until May 1st the speedboat will depart every morning to bring guests to MV Stingray and returns every evening to the mainland. In the evening, after the daytrip dives, Liveaboard guests choose to return with via speedboat or stay another night to enjoy a night and morning dive.

Itinerary

Morning Arrival

8.30am

Begin your adventure by arriving at the Thap Lamu Pier at 8:30AM where you will be introduced to the Sea Bees team. Shortly after, you will board the Speedboat that will take you to the MV Stingray.

Arrival @ Stingray

10.00am

After a 1:30 hour speedboat journey, you will board the spacious MV Stingray (Richelieu Rock 1 hour longer).

Day Trip Dive 1

10.30am

at 10:30 you will enjoy your first dives at one of the renowned dive sites in the Similan Islands and Richelieu Rock.

Lunch Break

11.30am

Enjoy a 2 hour surface break, where you can dig into freshly prepared buffet style meals by our amazing onboard kitchen.

Day Trip Dive 2

13.30pm

at 13:30 you will have your second dive of the day at a different dive site (except at Richelieu Rock).

Day Trippers Disembark Stingray - 15:00pm

at 15:00 the speedboat will transfer all day-trippers back to Thap Lamu pier.

Exclusive Night Dive

18.30pm

As daytrip guests depart, those booked for the flexible liveaboard will have the opportunity participate in a night dive.

Onboard Dinner

20.30pm

Enjoy a buffet style dinner, freshly prepared by our onboard kitchen.

Overnight Stay

Relax in our comfortable en suite bunk bed cabins with air conditioning.

Morning Dive

07.00am

At 7:00 AM, start your day with a refreshening good morning dive before the arrival of daytrip guests.

Flexible Departure

Stay onboard for as long as you like, and return to Thap Lamu via speedboat any evening of your choice.

The Diving

With a maximum of 8 liveaboard guests and with additional daytrip guests, enjoy dives at the Similans, Ko Bon, Ko Tachai and Richelieu Rock. These are world famous dive sites that vary in depth and conditions. The visibility can be between 10 and 30 meters! The Ocean temperature is normally between 24 - 29 degrees celsius

The Cabins

MV Stingray features 4 en suite cabins with 2 bunk beds, air conditioning, rain showers, and storage space. Each cabin also has windows, Mirror LEDs, reading lights, and personal AC controls.
Dive Deck

The wide catamaran-style boat offers a lot of space for divers to set up equipment. The dive deck also includes outdoor and indoor showers, western-style bathrooms, and plenty of space to hang and dry your scuba diving gear
