SSI Science of Diving Specialty Certification

This program provides an in-depth and detailed study of physics, physiology, decompression theory, the aquatic environment and diving equipment. It is required training for most SSI Dive Professional programs, as well as some Extended Range programs. You will earn the SSI Science of Diving Specialty certification after completing this program.

This program does not include any dives but it is a very extensive theoretical course. After completion of the E-Learning we will need at least 2 afternoons to go through it together before your exams.

The science of diving in combination with SSI Diveguide earns you the title of SSI Divemaster and is a prerequisite to become an instructor.

Transfer from your hotel to Nai Yang

It is very common now that most diving organizations offer the so called E-Learning. This means that the theory part can be completed online with SSI, and will minimize your time in the classroom allowing more time to concentrate on the practical part… diving!

All you need is a computer, tablet or smartphone and internet access. Full HD Videos, modern graphics, animations and great pictures make home studying much more fun, as you are the one who decides when to study which module.

Each step will be documented, and we will receive a notification of your progress. You are only going to spend a short time in our classroom, to discuss the course with your instructor, possibly answer some further questions and write a final exam.

Please choose "83110 Phuket -> Sea Bees Nai Yang" as dive center during your application process. You will receive your access code after successfully enrolling.
