SSI Marine Ecology Specialty Certification

This program provides a general understanding of the complex and exciting science of marine ecology, which is the study of how organisms interact with each other and the environment, the flow of energy through communities, and the link between ocean ecosystems. You will earn the SSI Marine Ecology Specialty certification after completing this program.

This course has no mandatory dive. After you finish your eLearning we will spend an afternoon discussing open questions.

From time to time we have marine biologists working with us, which can offer a dive to deepen the understanding of the underwater world as well. Please inquire before.

Transfer from your hotel to Nai Yang

It is very common now that most diving organizations offer the so called E-Learning. This means that the theory part can be completed online with SSI, and will minimize your time in the classroom allowing more time to concentrate on the practical part… diving!

All you need is a computer, tablet or smartphone and internet access. Full HD Videos, modern graphics, animations and great pictures make home studying much more fun, as you are the one who decides when to study which module.

Each step will be documented, and we will receive a notification of your progress. You are only going to spend a short time in our classroom, to discuss the course with your instructor, possibly answer some further questions and write a final exam.

Please choose "83110 Phuket -> Sea Bees Nai Yang" as dive center during your application process. You will receive your access code after successfully enrolling.
