Prerequisites for the SSI Instructor Crossover is:
- Minimum age: 18 years old
- Hold an active Divemaster certification or equivalent professional rating from a recognized training agency
- Completed CPR, First Aid, and Oxygen Provider training within the last two years
- Medical statement signed by a physician within the last 12 months
- Meet all current SSI Instructor Training Course requirements
