Wreck Diving & Khao Na Yak Reef in Khao Lak

Visit the local wrecks with our MV Runaway a classic teakwood boat; fast, comfortable and a real beauty.

We provide you with homemade sweets and sandwiches.

4 days a week we run trips to the local wrecks and reefs, such as the Boonsung wreck and TOR13, a site with trucks, a motorbike, huge underwater monument of a turtle and the wreck of a navy patrol boat and twice a week to Khao Nak Reef.

A great alternative to the Similans if you don’t want to spend the entire day out on the sea.

Maximum depth at Tor13 is only 15m so it is ideal for beginners and courses.

The Boonsung wreck is slighty deeper with the bottom at around 18 meters depth at low tide.

Local dive site with an artificial reef that has already attracted plenty of marine life. Ideal dive sites for beginners and courses.

MV Runaway

The "MV Runaway" provides a more intimate dive experience with small dive numbers and, together with its great wood decor, makes "getting wrecked" a great experience.

The “MV Runaway” is an elegant teak wood boat; 17m long and powered by a 350HP engine. Features include parquet flooring, an exclusive downstairs salon and a comfortable covered sundeck. We also serve delicious snacks and fruit all day.

The “MV Runaway” takes small groups (up to a maximum of 12), ensuring maximum personal attention during your time with us.

The “MV Runaway” is equipped with the latest navigation and electronic boat handling devices. She also has a medical first aid station complete with oxygen supply.

We’re always in touch with the Sea Bees dive centre at Khao Lak and are therefore ready for anything, especially calls revolving around visiting marine life!

Are these wreck & reef trips also suitable for beginners?

Yes, absolutely!

Due to the relatively shallow water with a max depth of 15-20 meters, these sites are ideal for courses and beginners.
