"Our newest ship wreck at Khao Lak's doorstep"

Once a week, Sea Bees Khao Lak invites experienced divers to explore a new wreck dive. Using the MV Runaway (max. 12 divers), we explore he ‘MV Sea Chart 1′ which sank in August 2009, not far away from Thap Lamu harbour, lies on its starboard side at depths of 28 – 40 metres and offers a breath-taking dive. The wreck is a little over 80 metres long and about 12 metres wide. Although still a relatively ‘young’ wreck, it already hosts an abundant variety of marine life.

The second dive will take place at the ‘Premchai’, a relic from Khao Lak’s tin mining industry and which, because of the shallower depth of 15 – 20 metres, is a comfortable and enjoyable way to end a days diving.

To qualify for this dive you must have an AOWD level or equivalent, 100 logged dives, with the last dive being no more than 12 months prior. This is also a perfect day for diving with Nitrox or an opportunity to include these dives as part of your Deep Diver Course
